Tandoori chicken recipe 


Ingredients:


1 kg chicken (preferably bone-in, skin removed)

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons tandoori masala

1 tablespoon ginger paste

1 tablespoon garlic paste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

2 tablespoons oil

Skewers

Instructions:

Cut the chicken into large pieces and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and oil. Mix well to form a marinade.

Add the chicken to the marinade and mix well, making sure each piece is coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.

Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
