Spicy Kolambi Fry Recipe



Here's a recipe for spicy Kolambi fry (also known as prawn fry):

Ingredients:

500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt, to taste
Oil, for frying

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
Add the cleaned prawns to the marinade and mix well to ensure they are coated evenly. Set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the marinated prawns to the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes, or until they are cooked through and turn golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the prawns from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain off excess oil.
Serve hot with your favorite dip or chutney.
Note: Adjust the amount of spices used to suit your taste preferences. You can also add some chopped curry leaves and sliced onions for added flavor.
