To make chicken tikka, you'll need:


500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp. lemon juice

2 tsp. ginger paste

2 tsp. garlic paste

2 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. garam masala

1 tsp. cumin powder

1 tsp. coriander powder

1 tsp. red chili powder

Salt, to taste

Skewers

Instructions:


In a bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, paprika, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Add chicken pieces to the bowl and coat well with the marinade.

Cover and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Preheat grill or oven to high heat.

Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers.

Grill or bake for 10-12 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.

Serve hot with chutney or 

Raita. Enjoy!
