Ingredients:
300g paneer, cubed
2 medium sized onions, finely choppe
2 medium sized tomatoes, pureed
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp oil
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnishing)
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add onions, ginger and garlic. Cook until the onions turn translucent
Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
Add the spices (coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, salt) and mix well.
Add the paneer cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti or rice.
